Dům snů Sigmunda Freuda

An interactive exposition created in Sigmund Freud's birthplace in Příbor as a contemporary interpretation of the themes of dreaming, childhood and the human psyche. Rather than a classical museum presentation, it works with the principle of discovery, play and the visitor's personal experience.

Visitors explore the entire house with a bundle of keys, which they use to open individual objects, drawers and hidden layers of the exposition. The installation uses the authentic spaces of the house — including the cellar, attic and courtyard — which were complemented with interactive elements and rest zones.

The exposition includes an animated surrealist film projected in the former workshop space. The attic space works with dream-like projection and video mapping onto hanging laundry. The exposition was designed with an emphasis on sensitive integration of the historic house and contemporary audiovisual language.
