Dotkni se světla

A series of interactive light installations created for the Advent programme of the Žďár nad Sázavou castle as an alternative to common decorative light attractions. Rather than passive viewing, the installations were designed as an open space for play, shared gathering and visitors' own creativity.

The main component was an interactive video mapping allowing visitors to draw in real time directly onto the castle façade. Visitors could create their own designs on paper captured by a camera, which was immediately projected onto the castle architecture. The installation was complemented by light objects inspired by the motif of Santini's star and a series of mirror elements working with reflected light.

An integral part of the project were accompanying workshops focused on simple principles of optics, projection and material recycling — visitors could assemble their own projector from cardboard and a mobile phone, or create a light object from recycled batteries.
