Za barokem

As part of an interactive travelling exhibition, a series of audiovisual objects was created at Plzeň's DEPO2015, bringing Baroque culture closer through light, movement and sound. The exhibition was conceived as a space in which visitors can experience the Baroque with all their senses.

The main object was a video mapping onto Petr Brandl's painting The Resurrection of Christ from Manetín — the installation uses light and animation to analyse the composition of the painting while at the same time telling its story. The soundtrack consists of a voiceover styled as a conversation between a novice and an abbot.

A further part of the installation comprised the Passion Hours — an audiovisual object working with the rhythm of the Passion cycle — and an animated story dedicated to the Cistercian order and the network of its monasteries.
