Praha Karla IV.

A permanent multimedia exhibition presenting the transformation of Prague during the reign of Charles IV through a combination of historical artefacts, physical models and audiovisual installations. It traces the urban development of the city, the founding of the New Town of Prague and the appearance of the most important buildings of the Luxembourg era.

In collaboration with studio Pink Productions, selected audiovisual objects were created: an immersive animated projection of galloping horses, an animated chronicle of the young Charles IV's rise to power, a short animated film about medieval urban self-governance, an immersive audiovisual projection inspired by the visual language of medieval illuminated manuscripts, and a combined documentary film dedicated to the Prague city walls.
